How do I deposit Litecoin (LTC)?

Why LTC is a good deposit option

Litecoin sits in a sweet spot:

Step-by-step

Always confirm the network is Litecoin (LTC) and not "Litecoin via Lightning" or any L2 — we only support mainnet LTC.

Common LTC issues

• "I sent LTC to a BTC address" — both are Bitcoin-derived chains and addresses can superficially look similar (ltc1q vs bc1q). LTC sent to a BTC address is unrecoverable. Always verify the prefix.
• "I sent BTC to an LTC address" — also unrecoverable.
• "MWEB option in my wallet" — disable it. We don't support MWEB.

Why so cheap?

Litecoin's blocks are 4× more frequent than Bitcoin's (2.5 min vs 10 min) and there's lower demand for blockspace. Result: confirmations are fast, fees are negligible.
