The network fee on my withdrawal looks really high — what's going on?

When fees spike

Network fees are set by the chain itself, not by Cinoslots. Two main culprits:

1. Ethereum gas (affects ETH, USDT ERC20, USDC ERC20)

Ethereum gas can swing from $0.50 to $40+ for a single token transfer, depending on:

• NFT mints / launches (often triggers extreme congestion)
• Major airdrops (everyone claiming at once)
• Memecoin manias (high-value transactions outbidding everyone else)
• DeFi liquidations (during volatile market days)

Check live gas at ultrasound.money or etherscan.io/gastracker. If gas is "high", wait a few hours.

2. Bitcoin mempool congestion

BTC fees rise when the mempool is full. Peak times: weekday US mornings, periods of high market volatility, ordinals/inscriptions waves.

Check the mempool at mempool.space. Fees under "low priority" are usually fine for withdrawals — the chain gets there eventually.

How to avoid high fees

• Switch to USDT TRC20. Flat ~1 USDT regardless of size or congestion. Best choice for frequent withdrawals.
• Use BNB / BEP20. Sub-$0.20 fees on every chain action.
• Wait for off-peak hours for ETH/BTC. Weekend evenings (UTC) are usually cheap.
• Batch withdrawals. One $10,000 withdrawal pays the same network fee as one $100 withdrawal — consolidate when possible.
• Reach VIP Gold+ for monthly fee rebates.

Why we don't subsidize the fee

If we ate the network fee, we'd have to:

• Charge a flat platform fee (which would overcharge during low-fee periods), or
• Take losses during congestion (unsustainable).

Pass-through-at-cost is the only honest model. We never mark up.

Will the fee go down if I wait?

Possibly. Pending withdrawals you've cancelled don't carry over a price quote — when you re-submit, you get the current network fee. If you're in no rush and want the cheapest possible withdrawal, watch the gas tracker and resubmit during a lull.
