What do the different withdrawal statuses mean?

Pending → Approved → Broadcast → Confirming → Completed. Each step is shown live in Profile → Transactions.

The 5 states

1. Pending

We've received your request, queued it, and are running automated checks. Lasts seconds for small amounts, minutes-to-hours for large ones. See withdrawal-pending.

2. Approved

Compliance + risk checks passed. The transaction has been signed and is ready to broadcast.

3. Broadcast

Sent to the blockchain network. The TX hash is now visible — you can track it on a block explorer.

4. Confirming (1/N, 2/N, ...)

On-chain. Counter shows how many confirmations have accumulated vs the destination's required minimum (varies by exchange or self-custody policy).

5. Completed

TX has accrued enough confirmations to be considered final. Funds are spendable in your destination wallet.

What if a withdrawal stays in one state too long?

| Status | Normal max | Investigate after | |--------|------------|-------------------| | Pending | 30 min (24h for >$10K) | 24 hours | | Approved | 1 min | 10 min | | Broadcast | 5 min before first confirmation appears | 30 min | | Confirming | depends on coin | 6× the typical confirmation time |

If you're past the "investigate after" mark, contact support with your withdrawal ID and TX hash.

Cancelling a withdrawal

You can cancel only while in Pending status — once approved, the transaction is signed and we can't recall it. The Cancel button disappears from the UI as soon as approval lands.

Failed broadcast — what happens?

If broadcast fails (e.g. mempool fee spike spike caused a rejection), the system automatically retries with a higher fee within 60 seconds. You don't need to do anything. If 3 retries fail, the withdrawal returns to Pending and a support ticket is auto-opened.
