How do I deposit USDT on Ethereum (ERC20)?

When to use ERC20 USDT

Use the Ethereum (ERC20) network only if:

• Your sending wallet only supports ERC20 (true for some hardware wallet setups)
• Your exchange doesn't offer TRC20 (e.g. Coinbase US for direct withdrawal)
• You're already paying gas for another action and adding USDT is "free" anyway

Step-by-step

1. Sign in and go to the deposit page.
2. Select USDT then choose Ethereum (ERC20) from the network selector.
3. Copy the 0x... address (Ethereum format).
4. From your wallet or exchange, withdraw USDT and explicitly select Ethereum / ERC20 network.
5. Send any amount above 10 USDT.
6. Wait for 12 confirmations (~3 minutes).
7. Credits to your USDT balance.

Network fee

Network fee = Ethereum gas. As of April 2026:

• Quiet hours: $1–$3
• Standard hours: $5–$15
• High congestion: $20–$50+

ETH needed for sending?

Yes — every ERC20 transaction (including USDT) consumes ETH gas. You need ETH in the same wallet to pay the fee. ~$10 of ETH covers many sends.

Common ERC20 issues

• "I sent ERC20 USDT to a TRC20 address" — recoverable in some cases. See wrong coin sent. Often we can sweep if it landed in our hot wallet's TRON address.
• "Gas spiked and my TX is stuck" — ERC20 supports RBF; "Speed Up" in your wallet bumps the fee. Otherwise wait for it to confirm at the original fee — it will eventually.
• "My exchange withdrew but the TX shows pending" — typical Ethereum behavior during congestion. Allow up to 4 hours during NFT manias.

Address reuse

ERC20 addresses are permanent — same address forever. Same address can also receive ETH, USDC, BNB, and any other ERC20 / EVM token (though only USDT-on-ETH credits as USDT to your Cinoslots balance).

Withdrawals (ERC20)

Same network applies. Withdrawal fee on Cinoslots side: ~5 USDT (depending on gas), passed through at cost. Switch to TRC20 if you want to save fees on the way out.
