How do I deposit Ethereum (ETH) on Cinoslots?

Step-by-step

1. Sign in and go to the deposit page.
2. Select ETH from the coin list.
3. Copy the 0x... address. Same address can be reused for every future ETH deposit (this is how Ethereum works — addresses are permanent).
4. Send any amount above $10 USD equivalent from your wallet.
5. Wait for 12 confirmations (~3 minutes).
6. Funds credit instantly on the 12th confirmation.

Address format

Single format: 0x + 40 hex characters (e.g. 0x742d35Cc6634C0532925a3b844Bc9e7595f0bEb1).

The same address works on any EVM chain — Ethereum mainnet, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche C-chain, Arbitrum, Optimism. However, Cinoslots only credits ETH sent on Ethereum mainnet. If you send ETH/ETH-equivalent from a different EVM chain, see wrong coin sent.

Gas fees

Ethereum's network fee ("gas") fluctuates dramatically:

• Quiet hours: $0.30–$1.50
• Standard hours: $2–$8
• NFT mint / liquidation cascade: $30–$80+

If gas is high and you're not in a hurry, wait — it'll drop in a few hours. Or use USDT TRC20 as an alternative if you don't specifically need ETH.

Why 12 confirmations?

Ethereum's chain occasionally experiences small reorgs (re-organizations) where the latest few blocks are replaced. 12 confirmations gives ~99.9999% finality, beyond which a reorg is essentially impossible. Faster than BTC's 1 conf because each ETH block is 12 seconds (vs BTC's 10 minutes), so 12 × 12s = 144s.

L2s and rollups

Cinoslots does not currently support Ethereum L2 deposits (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Linea, zkSync). Coming on roadmap. Always send ETH on mainnet for now.

Common ETH issues

• "Gas was super high so I sent low and now it's stuck" — your TX is in the mempool but not being mined. Use your wallet's "Speed Up" or "Cancel" feature (RBF for ETH). After 1 hour, our auto-recovery will detect it and we may credit early.
• "I sent ETH from a smart contract / multisig and it's not crediting" — most multisigs work fine. Some send via internal transactions only, which our indexer handles. If 1 hour after 12 confs and still nothing, contact support.
• "USDT ERC20 sent to my ETH address didn't credit" — ETH and USDT ERC20 are tracked separately. Contact support; we can usually credit it as USDT.

Tips

• For frequent deposits or small amounts, use USDT TRC20 instead — flat <$1 fee regardless of size.
• For large deposits, ETH is fine; gas is a small % of the total.
• Hardware wallet recommended for ETH deposits over $5,000.
