Can I display my balance in USD instead of BTC?
Yes — the display currency is independent of your active wallet currency. Switch any time from the header.
Display currency vs active wallet
Cinoslots separates two concepts:
- Active wallet currency — the coin your bets, deposits and withdrawals settle in (BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.).
- Display currency — the unit the price tags are shown in (USD, EUR, TRY, GBP, BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC). Purely cosmetic.
How to switch
- Click the small currency code in the top header (next to your balance).
- Pick from the list: USD, EUR, TRY, GBP, BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC.
- Every price, balance and stat re-renders instantly. The choice persists across tabs and devices.
How conversion works
- Crypto-to-fiat rates refresh every 60 seconds from a multi-source aggregator (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Kucoin median).
- Fiat-to-fiat rates refresh hourly from the European Central Bank reference feed.
- Rates shown are mid-market — there is no spread or fee added by Cinoslots for display purposes.
Important caveat
The display currency is never used for any transaction. Your bets, wins and ledger are always recorded in the active wallet's native unit (e.g. BTC), regardless of what your screen happens to show in USD or EUR. This means the displayed USD value of an old win can drift up or down with the market — that is not a bug.
